This session is suitable for teachers of teenagers in public school settings but could also be applied to adult learners. In this session we will explore some different approaches for increasing levels of engagement and motivation in the English classroom. You will get the chance to discuss some practical ways to maximise student engagement through the application of a variety of strategies related to appropriate task design, creating engaging materials, differentiation, collaborative learning and interaction patterns. After the session you will be able to apply some of these techniques in the classroom to create a more positive learning environment for your students.
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance that includes the number of teaching hours.
